The day He Turned ONE!

Well today is the big day....my baby boy is one year old. Last year about this time I was in labor, my water broke, and I was really wanting an epidural! I had such a wonderful delivery with lots of family and friends there to see the most perfect blessing from God. Payton was born at 10:48 a.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. and 11 oz. and was 20.5 in. long. He was so perfect to me and Jamie. I remember thinking once we were home..."Lord, help me to raise this baby as you would have me to and let him be healthy." I think the Lord has answered my prayers because he is a healthy and beautiful baby boy. I want to teach him right from wrong, to be respectful, and to know Jesus Christ. Being a mommy is the best thing in the world. I just melt a hundred times when he says, "ma-ma, ma-ma, ma-ma" over and over again! This past year has been a year of sleepless nights, plenty of tears, doctor's visits, laughs, smiles, and endless love. I have the most perfect life when I stop to think about it...thank you Lord for family and love.
